Wheel building stuff. Velocity Dyad 26s laced to shiny hubs from White Industries and SON. The dial gauge is unnecessary, but fun, and useful when reusing rims as it makes it easier to isolate minor rim flaws that don’t affect the overall true of the wheel.

In other “single purpose things I made” news. This black bit sets bearing preload on QR White Industries hubs. Slide tool onto QR skewer, loosen hub set screws, close QR lever, tighten set screws, preload adjustment done

Building a flight case for frame coupled bikes and folders. Made from super burly 1050D nylon it folds into a duffle or backpack. It’ll also mount between the seat and rack on a Brompton. 95% done in these shots. I still need to bind the interior seams and scrub the off the chalk marks.
